Everything we base our aesthetic and modern day Americana vibe on is cemented in Beams +, simply put, they are our clothing heroes.  The story started back in 1976, when the brand opened a 231 square foot store within another store in the heart of Harajuku, Tokyo. The idea for the brand was simple, to give the city of Tokyo and beyond a totally authentic taste of Preppy and Ivy League America, importing fashion and homeware from across the pond in there tiny retail store that resembled a UCLA student dorm room. Fast forward to 1999, and the iconic Beams Lifestyle store also became a menswear brand, calling itself BEAMS PLUS. For the last 25 years, the brand has focused on re-producing and adapting classic and heritage clothing from the glory years of Varsity and preppy culture (40’s - 60’s), focusing on cardigans, military style chinos, sweats, a vast array of button down shirts and some of the best jackets and outerwear you will ever see.
